According to new legislation (FIDLEG and FINIG), Swiss financial service providers will in future need a license from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA). This also entails affiliation with a supervisory organization (AO).

According to the latest request of FINMA, the application must be submitted this year.

In addition to various administrative documents and information, a business plan and risk management & compliance framework must also be prepared and submitted.
